Christmas gift suggestions (hint: buy local!)

This year, why not tap into the passions and interests of your loved ones, and either get them something locally made, or help them make a difference to a local cause or NGO they care about?

Whether it’s a Christmas album from a local musician or group (holla if you want any of the multitude the Marionettes has, or to donate to the Property Fund or scholarship fund);  or artwork from local artisans, local chocolates, local books or magazine subscriptions (Discover T&T has some great local ideas, and again holla if a Caribbean Beat subscription might make a nice gift!), or supporting local NGOs making a difference (animal welfare groups, environmental groups, social justice and human rights groups, etc) — the list is endless.

Let’s circulate as much loving and giving and joy and healing in this local space as we can. We need it. Blessings, everyone!

PS. To those with whom you don’t exchange gifts:

To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To all, charity.
